SAVE THE DATE: DAY OF CARING IS SEPTEMBER 25, 2025

In 2024, more than 1100 people volunteered to make a difference on Day of Caring. The purpose of this day is to connect your agency with volunteers and you with the opportunity to win over potential ongoing volunteers or new supporters! Our goal is to surpass last year's numbers to reach even further impact in Sheboygan County!

Want to Participate in Day of Caring 2025? Here's How!

Nonprofit agencies across Sheboygan County are invited to be a part of Day of Caring 2025! Whether you need help with painting, landscaping, organizing donations, or another hands-on project — this is a great opportunity to rally local volunteers around your mission.

To make it easy, we’ve created a Day of Caring 2025 Participation Guide with step-by-step instructions on how to:

  • Plan Your Project: Learn what types of projects work best, and how to clearly define your needs.

  • Add Your Opportunity Online: Our guide walks you through posting your project on the Volunteer Sheboygan website so volunteers can find and sign up easily.

  • Plan for Success: From safety tips to volunteer engagement, we’ve included best practices to help your project run smoothly.

  • Project Grants: For agencies participating in Day of Caring, mini-grants up to $500 may be awarded per project. If an agency has multiple projects, they may apply for more than one grant. (Limit 1 per agency.) Portal is currently closed and will re-open in 2025.
